So... I was SUPPOSE to go to
and check out the film studio that the sri lankan film guys recommended... but since
Vikrant and I are suddenly on the right track... I decided to head back to Delhi for a bit

(this coffee shop is actually in Delhi)

First night back, Madhu took us girls on an excursion for sweets...
and we came back with a flat tire (luckily it happened as we were pulling into the driveway)

A week out in the country and I felt the need to pamper myself for a day

I bought high heel sandals ($4) & a pedicure (which i did myself- Free),
a new shirt (conservative enough to hang out with Madhu's mom) ($3)

AND A SLUSHY!!
Kind of like a rootbear float but with an orange slurpee instead of coke :-)

And now (according to Madhu) I look "more feminine" - i guess thats a good thing

So yes... I am repressively desublimating myself

but at least it is a conscious process and relatively inexpensive

Sometimes babysitting is really quite a big job....
but right now she is asleep in my lap...
and i am able to upload this picture :-) isn't she cute!

The kids keep asking me to take pictures of them/us... it is hilarious...
i dont know enough Hindi yet to have a conversation with them...
it basically turns into a toss back of grunting and sign language :-)

The one on the left is Ashi's punk rock (bob the builder) style
