2.5 hrs waiting in the Delhi Heat for the bus... which took me to another
bus... which had
no air conditioning... and i had to sit in the very back seat (but at least
not on the floor like some)
for over 15 hours while the guy in front of me leaned back and I was crammed
in fetal position
style trying to fend off the half-conscious advances by the random guy sitting
next to me...
and when we stopped for dinner (i was too sick to eat) they gave me this drink...
THUMBS UP!!

But it was worth the hell... because now I am in heaven :-)
It is so beautiful here... and I already made some cool friends...
if one day i disappear...this is one of the places you can check for me :-)

This is one of the coolest places to eat/drink... "Soul Food"...and
I met this San Francisco boy there
does anyone back home recognize this mug? if so... he is no longer a stranger
to me :-)

Oh man... i can't express the joy of these pictures...
the first night in town we ended up
going on a crazy adventure, taking a couple rickshaws through the wilderness
into the
next little town... blew our chance to get back into my hotel (too late)...
walked back
in the dark singing tibetan love songs and ridiculously repeating "Why
like this?" then we all
crashed at Rebecca's room and the night ended listening to HER copies of SHPONGLE

Day 2: Suja invited me to his friends wedding... these
nice gentlemen taught me
the tibetan card drinking game... i still dont know the rules... thankfully
my
Austin Luck kicked in... and I won enough times that I didnt have to get TOO
sloshy

It is truly amazing to me how my whole reality can shift in one day...
two weeks ago I was eating curd with a piece of carboard in a little villlage
with no electricity... last week I was dying of heat in Delhi...
and these days i am chillin with tibetan refugees up in the mountains
you can really feel it... everyone who comes here is escaping something...
Dalai Lama's House
House Hunting in the hills... the view from Soul Food Cafe :-)

Rebecca was an English Teacher in Japan for the last few years, we are helping
our new friends learn (they, like many others are going to English School)
Here I am teaching him various usages of "popular slang" for dialogue
emphasis :-)

Suja's Birthday Party :-)

Chillin at the WELCOME under the covering after a rainy morning :-)

Taught Tibetan Refugees a Swing Lesson on the rooftop
of Rangzen Resturant
