A documentary by Rob McFarland
Borneo, Indonesia (June 2004)

From 1992 to 2002, at least 39% of the orangutans' habitat disappeared.

Over 80% of Borneo's rainforest has been logged. If this trend continues,
the rainforest of Borneo and its orangutans could be gone by 2010.

More timber has come out of Borneo in the last twenty years than
all of Latin America and tropical Africa combined.

The unrelenting expansion of palm oil plantations is the greatest threat to orangutans.

Camp Leakey is one of the few remaining orangutan havens in Borneo that has not been logged.
