Her ability to prioritize tasks and deal with daily situations that arose was also outstanding. She was a great motivator of the cast and crew. Overall, her work was outstanding."

"Chelsea Austin served in this year's production, Before It Hits Home, as Assistant Director. She proved to be an excellent person whom those in the cast and crew could turn to for guidance and support. She offered many extra hours to work with actors one on one with their lines. Her ability to research other material to the subject matter of AIDS was greatly appreciated and it aided the actors in their research. She put forth much effort in working with the technical staff and crew. Her contribution to this year's production was outstanding and inspiring to all of those involved. It should be noted that she went beyond the call and duty as she traveled with cast to various locations as they toured, constantly providing a helping hand. Overall, Ms. Austin was exceptionally outstanding."

"Chelsea is a truly gifted and talented artist. AATAT was honored to have her serve as Assistant Director of this year's production "Seven Guitars". Chelsea demonstrated great dedication and power in her researching and understanding the true intentions of this year's writer August Wilson. Her ability to openly and honestly communicate with the director, stage manager, cast, and crew was impeccable. Chelsea stood as a great source of motivation, inspiration, and sought to uplift and bring out the best in all involved in this year's production. Additionally, her ability to analyze and dissect the various scenes that took place was outstanding. I found her to be excellent in working with actors one on one and was extremely effective in meeting outside of class with a flexible schedule. She was dedicated to effectively communicate by means of verbal as well as written dialogue that was consistently helpful, creative, and direct. She provide technical assistance to both the programs and the website, and consistently constructed clear and precise instructions to the various technical aspects of the show. Chelsea's leadership skills truly demonstrate what it is meant to be a team player. Overall Chelsea's participation in this year's production was superior!"
